Terms of Service

The following terms govern all purchases and transactions with The Sullivan Archive. Each piece we handle is considered part of a broader design story; with that in mind, we ask that all clients read and understand these terms before completing a sale.

RESERVATIONS

Pieces may be reserved for up to 24 hours without payment. After that time, the work will be made available again to our collection. A full payment confirms ownership and removes an item from circulation.

PAYMENT POLICY

We accept credit card, bank transfer, check, and cash. All sales are final once payment has been processed. Given the nature of our collection, comprised of rare, vintage, and made-to-order works, refunds and cancellations are not permitted.

CONDITION & CHARACTER

Many of our pieces carry the evidence of time. Variations in patina, texture, or finish are not imperfections, but part of each object’s story. Clients are encouraged to request detailed images, measurements, or condition notes prior to purchase.

RETURNS

All sales are final. The Sullivan Archive does not offer returns, exchanges, or store credit. Each acquisition is handled with the expectation of thoughtful consideration before purchase.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

All shipping and delivery arrangements are handled separately from the cost of the item. We are happy to coordinate transport upon request, or clients may provide their own courier. Once an item has been received, it should be unpacked and inspected within 24 hours. Any loss or damage that occurs during shipment is the responsibility of the carrier, though we will assist in facilitating a claim if notified within 48 hours of delivery.

If delivery cannot be completed due to buyer-related delays or unforeseen circumstances, the item may be transferred to secure storage until pickup or redelivery is arranged. Storage and handling fees will apply accordingly.

PICKUP & STORAGE

Clients who prefer to collect their purchases directly must do so within seven (14) days of purchase. After the second week, a storage fee of $15 per day will apply, and items will not be released until the fee is paid in full.

Items unclaimed after 30 days, without prior written arrangement, will remain in storage until a resolution is agreed upon with the client.
